2. Personal information we collect
Depending on how you use the store, we may collect or process:
- contact and delivery details, such as your name, email, phone number, billing address, and shipping address;
- order and transaction details, such as the products viewed, cart contents, purchases, returns, refunds, payment status, and delivery status;

3. How we collect information
We collect information directly from you when you browse, place an order, request support, or otherwise provide it. We also receive information automatically through Shopify, cookies, and similar technologies, and from service providers that support payment processing, hosting, security, fulfillment, shipping, customer support, and analytics.
4. How we use information
We use personal information as necessary to:
- operate the store and provide requested products and services;
- process payments, orders, shipping, delivery, returns, and refunds;
- communicate about orders, support requests, policy updates, and security;
- detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized activity;
- maintain, troubleshoot, measure, and improve the store;
- comply with legal obligations, respond to valid legal process, and establish or defend legal claims; and
- send marketing communications only where permitted by law and after any consent required for that communication has been obtained.
Where UK or EEA data protection law applies, the legal basis may be performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, legitimate interests that do not override your rights, or your consent. You may withdraw consent at any time where processing relies on consent.
5. Cookies, analytics, and privacy choices
Shopify and permitted service providers use cookies and similar technologies to operate the store, remember choices, keep checkout secure, measure performance, and provide features. Where required, optional cookies are used only after consent. You can manage choices through the privacy banner or browser settings.
DEADLOOM does not sell personal information for money. Some laws may define certain personalized advertising or cross-context data uses as a “sale” or “sharing.” Where the relevant Shopify feature applies, you can submit an opt-out request through the data sharing opt-out page or use a supported Global Privacy Control signal.
6. How we disclose information
We disclose personal information only where reasonably necessary to operate the store, complete a transaction, comply with law, or protect legitimate interests. Recipients may include:
- Shopify, which hosts and operates the ecommerce platform;
- payment providers and fraud-prevention services;
- fulfillment partners, carriers, customs providers, and delivery services;
- hosting, security, analytics, and customer-support providers;
- professional advisers and public authorities where required or permitted by law; and
- a successor or purchaser if the store is involved in a genuine business transfer, subject to applicable law.
We may also disclose information when you direct us to do so or provide consent.
7. Shopify
Shopify processes information about your use of the store to provide and improve its services. Information may be processed in countries other than the country where you live. For details about Shopify’s processing and available privacy rights, see the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy and the Shopify Privacy Portal.
8. International transfers
Personal information may be transferred, stored, or processed outside your country. Where UK or EEA law applies, transfers are supported by an adequacy decision, approved contractual safeguards, or another lawful transfer mechanism where required.
9. Retention
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including fulfilling orders, providing support, maintaining records, resolving disputes, preventing fraud, and meeting tax, accounting, or other legal obligations. Retention periods vary according to the record and applicable law.
10. Security
We and our service providers use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards. No transmission or storage method is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive payment or identity information through ordinary email or chat.
11. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, withdrawal of consent, or an appeal of a privacy decision. These rights may be subject to legal exceptions. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
To exercise a right, email support@deadloom.com. You may also submit certain Shopify-related requests through the Shopify Privacy Portal. If you are in the UK or EEA, you may lodge a complaint with the data protection authority that applies where you live or work.
12. Children
The store is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age at which they can lawfully consent to the relevant processing. A parent or guardian may contact us to request review or deletion of information provided by a child.
13. Third-party links
The website may link to services not controlled by DEADLOOM. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices, which you should review before providing information.
